About the Role

 
The Business Supervision Analyst Manager role reports into the Senior Manager, Business Supervision (Part of the Business Tools & Oversight (BTO) team).The role will work closely with the broader BTO team as well as Front Office Support & Governance (including Desk Risk Management & Business Managers supporting FO). The role will be involved in the operation of control activities that Business Supervision perform across ~700 Front Office staff globally, including coordinating the collection of input data and escalation of exceptions. 
Specifically, it will focus on handling exceptions relating to the Markets Customer Suitability Framework (CSF). This includes the weekly management, investigation and general support to ensure the CSF policy is met by Markets Front Office staff.
Strong data analysis and technical skills to support data manipulation, generating insights and reporting are preferred.

In addition, the Manager will also be expected to

Customer
  • Build strong, open and collaborative working relationships, including communicating with and influencing a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Support the business in ensuring oversight across the Markets risk profile, controls, treatments, events and audit items.
Process
  • Provide reporting and insights, identify trends and make recommendations to uplift the operation of controls.
  • Coordinating the collection of large amounts of unstructured data for input into risk and supervisory controls.
  • Work with a broad range of stakeholders across Markets to obtain data necessary to produce timely and accurate operation of controls.
People
  • Leadership of self as part of a highly skilled, engaged and high functioning Business Supervision team, through regular upskilling and to keep up to date with relevant operational risk, regulatory, compliance and governance practices.
Risk / Compliance / Behaviours
  • Adhere to all established policy and procedures and display an understanding of I.AM, regulations applicable to Markets’ business and ANZ’s Code of Conduct
 
Terms of employment: 6 Months Secondment/Fixed Term contract
Role Location: Solaris One Building, 130 Dela Rosa St., Legaspi Village, Makati City
Role Set Up: Australian Business Hours, Dayshift schedules, Weekends Off. Hybrid work set up

  • Basic understanding and knowledge of the Financial Markets and the environment that ANZ Markets operates in.
  • Advanced skills of Excel and PowerPoint, and good ability in developing analytical tools through desktop applications (eg. Excel).
  • Embraces data and provides innovative solutions to meet the changing landscape through maintaining external awareness
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong ability to manage multiple and tight deadlines
  • Strong control and governance mindset.
