About the Role
The Equity Analyst will support the global implementation of equity policies & employee share plans by managing equity processes, data analysis and reporting. It provides general guidance on equity matters to employee shareholders and the Talent and Culture community in accordance with the Equity policies and procedures.
The role is accountable for the accurate and efficient delivery of equity activities including delivery of data requirements for allocations, vestings and dividends globally across ANZ.

What will your day look like?
As an Equity Analyst, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Actively supporting and leading the delivery of Equity processes and reporting activities
- Ensuring the accuracy of all Equity related data/reports with a focus on minimising operational risk
- Supporting and actively participating in equity processes and reporting for ANZ’s Employee Share Plans (including equity allocated as part of the Performance and
- Remuneration Review and Special Reward Arrangements) to deliver accurate and compliant outcomes
- Undertaking key equity processes including managing leaver reporting, data preparation for allocations and vestings, dividend reporting and answering equity queries from Computershare Plan Managers (CPM) and employee shareholders
- Regularly reviewing and updating process documents and process maps for tasks within scope to ensure they are accurate and reflect current process
- Supporting equity related processes to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory obligations, and ANZ policy requirements
- Support the Equity team and also the wider Reward and Performance team.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strong understanding of Employee Share Plans, including employee equity allocations and processes
- Understanding of Remuneration and Benefits, payroll or tax/finance
- Experience performing data analysis with advanced Excel skills
- Process mapping experience
- Ability to explore business needs in a data-driven way, developing and implementing innovative solutions, testing the outcomes and iterating
- Ability to apply systems thinking to drive effective solutions, with a focus on automating processes
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- You will be energised by tackling complex problems using your critical thinking, network, skills, knowledge, and available data to drive better outcomes for the end user and the bank
- The ability to build collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to proactively seek feedback to improve processes
