About the Role

 

The Associate Manager is an SME that can perform the Markets requests across the Markets Client Lifecycle (Onboarding, Amendments, Offboarding, etc) and related queries with minimal guidance and provide expertise decision making on process and product requirements.Key services include Market Onboarding, life cycle management, client servicing, and addressing escalations for both Front Office and Client.

 

This role is also expected to

  • Develop and foster partnership with both external and internal stakeholders and service providers.
  • Ensure that all their cases meet global requirements (OTC, Regulatory, etc).
  • Partner with our GCC teams (Client Data, Static Data, Confirmations and Settlements) to ensure setups are correctly setup within SLA’s

Role Location: 11F Solaris One building, Makati City
Work Hours: Australian Business hours, Day Shift, Weekends Off, Hybrid work set up

What will your day look like?


As an Associate Manager, you will oversee: 

 

Financial:
• Provide transparency & Grow the business through prioritisation of resource to focus on clients profitable for ANZ
• Maximise wallet opportunity by Onboarding clients in shortest time possible
• Reduce any financial loss which may arise from Client escalations received by Client Services


Customer:
• Full handling of all Markets related requests and queries (Product Onboarding, Regulatory, Confirmations and Settlements setups, Amendments, Offboarding, etc)
• Initial and Ongoing Co-ordination & management of customer Regulatory (e.g. Dodd Frank, EMIR, APRA, CPS 226), Investor Suitability, and Market product requirements (such as Legal, Credit, Settlement, Confirmation, Account Setup, etc)
• Drive strong collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure clients are compliant
• Take personal responsibility for delivering tailored solutions to ensure optimal customer experience
• Deliver required output in a consistent manner to ensure SLA delivery


Process:
• Local and Global Market Pre-Trade Services Delivery
• Running Controls to ensure our Service Providers are meeting SLA and Quality metrics
• Deliver required quantity of completed customer reviews (monthly basis)
• Develop and implement strategy/ies to improve the processes (where applicable) to improve customer experience


People:
• Behaves consistently with ANZ/Markets COO values and challenge where inconsistent.
• Support wider team deliverables where possible (including those not within immediate scope)


Risk/compliance/behaviours:
• Adhere to regulatory and internal policies at all time to ensure strong audit review results.
Identify risk & security issues within the process and determine remedial plans

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

• Experience in managing customer service and operational needs
• Knowledge of Markets products, different client types, and trade life cycle and Markets processes, significant experience in Banking
• Strong regulatory knowledge and ability to address audit outcomes and implement process controls. Be able to identify risks in processes and take ownership to improve processes
• Understand the Markets Trade Lifecycle (trade execution, confirmations, settlements)
• Onboarding experience
• Strong communication skills (Written and Verbal)
• Customer service skills
• Good influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills 
• Experience in delivering customer focused outcomes 
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding service and meet competing demands
