About the Role

 

As a Associate Director, FX Options Trader, you will be responsible for delivering FXO trading revenue targets with book responsibilities during this time zone. The candidate will maintain and grow core customer relationships and develop market leading position in relevant market/s, expand channel, and drive business initiatives for growth. You will manage and to ensure adherence to ANZ policies, processes and external regulatory and legislative requirements.

 

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time

What will your day look like?

 

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:      

 

  • Drive delivery of FX Options (FXO) trading revenue targets across the region.
  • Grow and strengthen the FXO franchise, expanding market presence and client reach
  • Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with key clients.
  • Develop leading market positions, expand distribution channels, and drive strategic growth initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, risk limits, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement of end-to-end operational processes and efficiencies.
  • Foster collaboration across teams and proactively share market insights and best practices.
  • Uphold strong risk management standards, ensuring timely escalation of issues and strict adherence to AML/KYC requirements.

What will you bring?

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following –

 

  • Demonstrated expertise in trading both Vanilla and Exotic products.
  • Experience in trading of vanilla and 1st gen exotic markets.
  • Strong experience in risk management.
  • Track record in helping to build a business with strong customer focus together with Senior Traders, contributing to revenue growth and franchise development.
  • Ability to translate market insights into commercial opportunities, supporting both client solutions and trading strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skill, with the ability to collaborate effectively across sales, structuring, and risk teams.
