About the Role

 

In this position, you’ll play a key role in contributing to the achievement of the Markets business objectives by achieving financial results for all facets of the Asian and Australian Credit Trading markets business to meet current and future targets.

 

Role Type: Full Time, Permanent

What will your day look like?

 

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:      

 

  • Drive Asia and Australia Credit trading revenue growth and deliver financial targets within approved cost parameters.
  • Provide consistent, competitive, and timely pricing to internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Identify and execute value‑add trading opportunities by enhancing the team’s awareness of European and US client flows and investment trends.
  • Partner with Product and Sales to jointly manage risk, profitability, and governance across Asia & Australia Credit products.
  • Enhance risk awareness and foster a strong risk culture, ensuring effective limit management and adherence to all internal and external requirements.
  • Execute front‑office control checks and deal processes to minimize transactional, operational, and trading risk.
  • Ensure full compliance with Markets dealing and distribution mandates, suitability frameworks, conduct standards, and external regulatory obligations.

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

 

  • Credit Trading background and a strong knowledge of Asia USD & Australia AUD Investment Grade Credit markets.
  • Experience or Skills to deal with teams across multiple geographies and time zones is required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory framework and requirements in relevant countries.
  • Experience in dealing with internal and external clients and negotiating with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to drive results.
  • A collaborative team player who works effectively with diverse stakeholders.
