About the Role
This role has responsibility Support the execution of the Bank’s business strategy by managing and growing relationships with Large Corporate and Multinational Corporation (Greater China) clients. The role is responsible for delivering holistic banking solutions through close collaboration with product partners and international teams, driving revenue growth, enhancing client engagement, and identifying cross-selling opportunities. The incumbent will actively support client acquisition and retention through participation in client pitches, deal execution, and corridor initiatives, while maintaining high standards of client service, contributing to team capability development, and strengthening ANZ’s reputation with clients and internal stakeholders.
What will your day look like?
Financial
- Support the bank’s financial performance through disciplined portfolio management in line with ANZ Indonesia’s Business Plan (Rev/RWA, ZCEP hurdles, and credit loss provisions).
- Identify and execute new business and cross-selling opportunities to drive future growth and strengthen client engagement
Customer
- Grow and maintain client portfolio through excellent client experience, disciplined sales practices (account planning, client calls, cross-selling, lending, and pricing), and a focus on quality clients, wallet share, and sustainable returns.
- Develop and execute a clear corporate business strategy by collaborating with internal teams and leveraging ANZ’s network to deepen existing relationships, identify new opportunities, and drive business growth.
People
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Product Partners, Risk, and Operations teams, to support business objectives and deliver positive client outcomes.
- Contribute positively to team collaboration and knowledge sharing, fostering strong teamwork and cross-functional partnerships.
- Support colleagues and create an inclusive, professional, and respectful working environment, aligned with ANZ’s values and culture, while actively participating in learning and development opportunities.
Risk/Compliance:
- Maintain strong risk awareness by ensuring full compliance with bank policies, KYC/AML standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage client portfolios with sound credit judgment, proactively identifying and escalating potential risks in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate documentation, appropriate approvals, and audit readiness in line with governance and control requirements.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian corporate banking across segments & industries, including market dynamics, industry trends, and operating models.
- Working knowledge of banking products and solutions, including lending, FX, cash management, trade finance, treasury products, liquidity solutions, and deposits.
- Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to influence and engage both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities to deepen wallet share and grow business.
- Resilient, proactive, and able to effectively manage client challenges and changing business priorities.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, think strategically, and deliver practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams, functions, and diverse cultural environments.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytically strong.
- Working knowledge of credit/ accounting terms and financial analysis to liase directly with credit officers and cross-border subject matter experts in Corporate Finance/ Markets/ Transaction Banking
- Indonesian citizen with Native/ bilingual proficiency in English & Chinese (oral & written). Additional Chinese dialects are advantageous
