About the Role

As a Senior Officer - Transaction Processing & Reporting in our Institutional Operations team you will perform verification to payment and cash, Trade and Static Data related transactions, manage the hub performance, support procedure/system change activities, proactively address potential risk and implement correspondent controls under both various area. Support line manager in different projects.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Officer - Transaction Processing & Reporting you will;

• Support management and business decisions with a focus on cost.

• Deliver high-level customer service to both internal and external customers through collaboration and engagement.

• Conduct checks before processing, ensuring all document details are accurate and verifying transactions.

• Consistently meet targets and ensure requests are actioned within established SLAs.

• Take accountability for all risk and compliance procedures and controls.

• Develop positive working relationships with all stakeholders and provide guidance to less experienced analysts.

• Seek to understand the relevance of the team within the broader business context.

• Display flexibility, adaptability, and a strong concern for quality and standards.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Experience in trade/payment/Static Data operations, with various operations experience being a plus.

• Accuracy and attention to detail.

• Well organized in execution to ensure transactions are completed within the committed SLA with customers.

• Knowledge of HKICL procedure and HKMA policies.

• Focus towards risk management.

• Basic knowledge of Sanction Screening.

• Good communication skills (written and verbal) in both Chinese and English, as you will interact with customers who speak these languages.

• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
