About the Role

This is a Debt Capital Markets role actively involved in originating transactions from Korea, as well as on-going business development and idea generation for the team. You will provide quality and timely advice on the market condition and debt issuance process to ANZ’s clients while oversee junior’s work to ensure quality and accuracy as well as provide guidance and training to juniors.

What will your day look like?

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:      

 

  • Originate, structure and execute bond transactions including material preparation, documentation, due diligence and execution process.
  • Managing client during the execution process of bond issuance.
  • Support Desk to develop and enhance business processes on transactions for both financial and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with relationship managers on internal communication and process.
  • Work with DCM Desk peers to support transactions and the ongoing development of the Debt Capital Markets business.
  • Meet all regulatory & compliance requirements within specified time parameters.  Adhere to & on-going engagement in development of ANZs conflicts policy & procedures.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

 

  • Demonstrated successful track record in bond or loan origination.
  • Highly organised with the ability to handle and coordinate an atmosphere of demanding high-pressure work and stretched working hours.
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal, influencing, presentation and negotiating skills that can be used in motivating, influencing and advising key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Strong product knowledge and uphold high work quality. Ability to oversee and provide training to junior members of the team.
  • Korean language skills is a must but also ability to maintain coverage of other North Asian clients, so a high level of English is required.
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to build solid internal / external relationships
