About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for marketing and sales of fixed income instruments from offshore into Korean institutional investors. You will support to deepen and widen existing relationship in collaboration with relevant internal teams and introduce new client relationship. Language skills are essential for the role, as well as familiarity with Korean regulations. The role covers a combination of rates and credit flow as well as structured notes business.

What will your day look like?
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Lead the marketing and sales efforts of offshore fixed income products to Korean institutional clients.
- Support existing sales team to maximize team revenue.
- Support FI customers by providing daily quotes, market information, research papers and product information in timely manner.
- Communicate with internal teams to share local market knowledge and develop new products in line with client interest/ demand.
- Manage client account opening, onboarding, documentations, and compliance processes to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and prevent potential breaches.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
- Experience in dealing with clients for rates and credit products.
- Solid relationship and deal execution experience with FI customers in Korea inclusive of central bank, public funds, and insurers are required.
- Understanding of relevant financial markets and products.
- Generate and pitch trade ideas to initiate business opportunities.
- Knowledge of Korean local regulations/guidelines.
- Fluent in English & Korean. Able to read/write English and Korean.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and related pricing factors.
- Experience in dealing with internal and external clients and negotiating with clients and stakeholders at all seniority levels.
- Strong customer focus and ability to drive results.
