About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic sales leader to join our Hong Kong Financial Institutions team managing a portfolio of NBFI clients. This role reports to the Head of FIG Honk Kong, and ANZ is committed to providing the support needed for a fulfilling, rewarding career.
Ideally, you will have experience in the FI business and a proven track record in managing client portfolios. This externally focused role is well-supported internally, allowing you to concentrate on winning new business and growing client relationships. Responsibilities include assisting with developing and executing a comprehensive NBFI strategy, managing key client relationships and collaborating with various internal teams to drive sustainable business growth.
Networking the network is a key part of ANZ success and culture. You will work closely with other FIG sales teams globally, in a highly collaborative and non-territorial way to support global FIG clients. Certain financial institution clients will require a coordinated account management approach regions lead by the global control point Relationship Manager.

What will your day look like?
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with global and regional NBFI, focusing on scale opportunities and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Identify value-beyond product partnership opportunities with key clients to cultivate long-term relationships.
- Work as part of a collegial team that shares ideas and best practices; align with HK, Asia, and global sales teams.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across the ANZ footprint, including marketing, developing consistent approaches to client relationships, to support sales efforts and enhance client offerings. Support knowledge transfer of market and client intelligence and their evolving needs and behaviors to the rest of ANZ.
- Stay abreast of evolving industry and regulatory trends and standards, conduct research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning.
- Identify future opportunities to evolve the business through a focus on innovations, simplification, and continuous capability development.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies including close management of non-financial risks.

- Proven experience in relationship management, with a strong track record of driving results and success.
- Deep understanding of macroeconomics, asset classes, financial products and services, and the Greater China region.
- Passionate about client work and client focused.
- Strong business acumen, analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent team player.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across different levels, including senior stakeholders in client/prospect organizations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Track record of building strategic partnerships and generating business with a diverse clientele.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese, with adequate Mandarin will be an advantage.
