About the Role

 

This is a client‑facing role with responsibility for managing the end‑to‑end sales process, from lead generation and pipeline management through to execution.  This role requires the ability to deepen and monetize existing client relationships while actively developing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of Markets business objectives by supporting the financial performance of the FX sales business and helping to meet current and future revenue targets. In addition, the role will involve identifying emerging client segments, supporting growth initiatives, and providing guidance and collaboration within the team.

What will your day look like?

 

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:      

 

  • Drive franchise revenue growth by partnering with Trading, Capital Markets, and Research to identify and cross‑sell solutions across the product suite.
  • Work closely with Relationship Managers and Trading to manage the client portfolio, including onboarding, coverage, and business opportunities.
  • Respond to client requests for pricing and research, communicate trade ideas, and participate in client meetings and events.
  • Execute sales initiatives in collaboration with country sales heads to support revenue growth and improve operating efficiency.
  • Adhere to Markets mandates, suitability frameworks, governance, conduct standards, and front office control processes.
  • Build strong risk awareness and risk culture, ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory obligations.
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal partners (Trading, Relationship Managers, Research, Credit, Operations, and enablement teams) and external stakeholders.

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

 

  • Strong Investor Sales background and extensive knowledge of the relevant markets.  Existing Chinese/HK client portfolio required.
  • Experience with working in a team across multiple geographies and time zones is required.
  • Experience in dealing with internal and external clients and negotiating with clients and stakeholders at all seniority levels.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to drive results.
  • Strong technical knowledge across FX products, including flow and non‑flow, with solid expertise in FX options and familiarity with electronic FX trading platforms
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory framework and requirements in the countries ANZ Global Markets operates in.
