About the Role

In this role, you will be actively involved in end-to-end sales process from lead generation to pipeline management through deal execution. This is a client facing role and the candidate is expected to monetize existing relationships as well as develop new ones.  You will also contribute to the achievement of the Markets business objectives by providing management and financial results for all facets of the FX sales business to meet current and future targets.

What will your day look like?

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Work closely with Relationship Managers and Trading to ensure comprehensive understanding and management of the client portfolio including smooth onboarding and identifying opportunities with existing accounts. 
• Drive franchise revenue growth, working with Trading, Capital Markets and Research to identify and effectively cross-sell all our products.
• Drive sales initiatives in collaboration with country sales heads to support revenue growth and enhance efficiency.
• Support clients in providing daily trade quotation/execution, sharing market and product information and distributing research papers in a timely manner.
• Develop knowledge about financial products, market fundamentals/technical and investor base.
• Develop relationship with current and prospective clients.
• Understand the trade cycle and learn about the best practices in execution and interaction with clients/traders.
• Ensure alignment and adherence with Markets dealing and distribution mandates, suitability frameworks, governance and conduct policies, processes and standards.
• Ensure alignment and adherence with external regulatory requirements.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Good knowledge of the relevant markets and experience in Chinese/HK client portfolio is required.
• Technical knowledge in FX products (flow and non-flow).
• Experience in dealing with internal and external clients and negotiating with clients and stakeholders at all seniority levels.
• Strong customer focus and ability to drive results.
• Experience with working in a team across multiple geographies and time zones is required
• Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory framework and requirements in the countries ANZ Markets operates in.
• Be motivated to learn and take on responsibilities and challenges.
• Good communication/interpersonal skills and command of English/Chinese.
