The Senior Relationship Manager, Central Region builds trusted relationships with clients and key partners to grow the business. The role focuses on delivering high-quality investment advice, supporting client retention, and identifying new opportunities. It also has a strong leadership focus, helping shape regional growth plans, influencing best practice, and supporting the development of others. The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen collaboration, build a strong pipeline, and support long-term client growth. The Central Region geography covers Waikato/BOP down to Wellington.

Hours: Standard, Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs

The Senior Relationship Manager is critical to making this happen and key responsibilities of the role will include the following:
- Managing a set of affluent clients through strong trusted relationships to deliver an exceptional client experience and grow.
- As a member of the regional leadership team, you will work closely with Regional Manager, Central to develop regional growth plans and take the lead on driving this forward.
- Create a seamless ANZ client experience with internal and external partners and intermediaries by effectively collaborating and managing ANZ delivery to meet client needs
- Collaborating with peers to have a nationwide approach of best practice
- Facilitating best practice business development within the region and supporting the development of acquisition capability among existing Private Bankers.
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Financial Adviser required qualification (set standards within National Certificate in Financial Services Level 5, or other approved relevant qualification)
- Experience in financial services and investment advice with an in-depth knowledge of financial markets
- Advanced communication, presentation & networking skills to be able to liaise with senior stakeholders (internal and external)
- Connected in the community as industry specialist
- Strong relationship management skills
- Strong stakeholder management at a Senior level
- General knowledge of the ANZ proposition to support a whole of bank approach to potential client solutions.
