About the Role
As an Operations Lead, GIFT City Branch, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring a high degree of accuracy and timeliness of end-to-end activities of branch operations and admin work.
- Responsible for providing support to meet customer deliverables within agreed timelines.
- Eliminate and automate processes where feasible to avoid manual effort and bring in elements of efficiency.

Role Location: ANZ GIFT City Branch, Gandhinagar India
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
What will your day look like?
- Deliver superior customer service and manage the operations as per the standards within the approved operating plan.
- Operate within the allocated cost budgets.
- Minimal to nil error in all operational activities of the branch.
- Through superior customer service support volume growth as projected by the Coverage and Product teams.
- Look for opportunities towards enhanced customer experience.
- Provide a responsible and accurate compliance towards transaction processing by maintaining and applying an up-to-date knowledge of applicable banking policies, practices, procedures and law.
- Operational Risk Management and Compliance
- E2E Operations Governance and Identification of breaches or potential breaches
- Immediate escalation of issues identified
- Ongoing compliance to training and development activities - role and region specific
- Outsourcing and GCC Governance
- Managing regulatory reporting applicable to operations.
- Maintain Client Service standards for all stake holders.
- Foster sound working relationships with the other teams in the branch.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Extensive experience in wholesale banking operations
- Strong knowledge of lending and trade products
- Thorough understanding of sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering requirements
- Good knowledge of institutional banking operations, instruments, and processes
- Strong exposure to and thorough understanding of risk and compliance management
- In-depth knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements
- Proactive approach with the ability to take initiative, act decisively, and persist in resolving issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
