About the Role
As an Associate Director, Relationship Manager for GIFT City branch, you will manage and grow the GIFT branch portfolio while ensuring high quality service standards. The role will assist the GIFT IBU Head in management of the GIFT IFSC Banking Unit (“IBU”).

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
What will your day look like?
- Manage end‑to‑end relationship lifecycle for all GIFT IBU customers, ensuring a consistently high-quality customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across India and the region — including Coverage, Product, Research and Analysis, Finance and Treasury, Tax, Legal, Technology, Operations and other enablement teams - to drive seamless execution and delivery.
- Ensure timely completion of all business‑critical activities while ensuring strict adherence to applicable policies, processes, and compliance standards.
- Support the IBU Head in delivering strategic branch initiatives, strengthening governance frameworks, engaging with external stakeholders such as clients and regulator, and proactively managing non‑financial risks.
- Maintain asset quality of the portfolio and oversight on credit controls.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proven experience in the banking industry.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross‑border client servicing.
- Strong business acumen, demonstrating sound judgment, creativity, and analytical insight.
- Ability to manage conflicts and escalations productively, promoting active risk management and ensuring a well‑managed business.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks, institutional banking products, internal policies and procedures, and a strong mindset to drive growth while maintaining exemplary risk and compliance standards.
- Excellent diagnostic abilities and a rigorous approach to problem‑solving, with the capacity to think creatively and identify innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with legal documentation.
- Strong credit risk analysis capabilities.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications, preferably with CA or MBA.
