About the Role

 

As a Personal Banker, you are to provide outstanding levels of sales and service to our customers within our customer channel at Suncorp Bank.


In this role, you will interact with customers in line with our connect conversation framework, ensuring all interactions are conducted with the customer’s best interests at heart. These interactions could occur within any banking customer channel at Suncorp Bank.

Monday - 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM = 5 Hours

Tuesday -  09:00 AM - 02:00 PM = 5 Hours

Wednesday -  09:00 AM - 02:00 PM = 5 Hours

Thrusday -  09:00 AM - 02:00 PM = 5 Hours

Friday -  09:00 AM - 02:00 PM = 5 Hours

What will your day look like?

 

As a Personal Banker, you will:

 

  • Drive your development with support from your leader through maintaining an active development plan in Suncorp’s Success program to build performance and learning opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively within the team and the wider Suncorp functions to achieve our strategies.
  • Support and educate customers on how to use our digital platforms for personal banking, empowering them to self-serve with online banking features.
  • Provide support for digital onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new customers to make the most of their banking.
  • Act in the best interests of customers by executing our connect conversation framework.
  • Make the right decisions & do the right thing for our customers in accordance with process, procedures & risk appetite.
  • Have quality connect conversations, by supporting and protecting our customers with their best interests at heart.
  • Contribute to growth in the bank, across both lending and deposit portfolios.

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Demonstrated experience in a retail customer sales & service environment.
  • Comfortable with digital customer service platforms to assist customers in real-time.
  • Ability to navigate and troubleshoot common digital banking applications and mobile services with customers.
  • Understanding of digital verification and ID validation systems used in customer onboarding.
  • Proficiency in digital payment technologies, such as mobile wallets and online payments
  • Ability to handle and assist with digital banking queries, empowering customers to manage their accounts online.
