About the Role

 

The TPRM & Procurement Governance Senior Manager is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and oversight of governance frameworks, policies, and controls across third-party risk management (TPRM) and Procurement. This role ensures regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and operational excellence, with a strong focus on supporting the Third-Party Risk Theme under the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Framework.

What will your day look like?

 

This role is accountable for:

 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Procurement & TPRM framework, policies, procedures, and standards to ensure alignment with regulatory obligations, organisational objectives, and best practices.
  • Support the Third-Party Risk Theme management under the NFR Framework by collaborating with Risk Theme Owners and Officers to manage control objectives, key risk indicators (KRIs), and thematic issues.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks with clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and control objectives. Drive continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback, issue resolution, and analysis of governance effectiveness.
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and external regulations and identify governance gaps and support remediation activities to strengthen compliance and reduce risk exposure.
  • Prepare and deliver governance-related reporting to leadership and committees and support the coordination of governance forums and contributions to broader enterprise risk reporting.
  • Engage with stakeholders including internal Leads, Legal, Risk, and Business Units to ensure consistent application of frameworks and policies. Develop and deliver training and communications to promote awareness of policies and risk responsibilities.
  • Support audit and regulatory engagements by coordinating responses, managing evidence requests, and ensuring timely resolution of findings related to Procurement and TPRM governance.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the TPRM & Procurement Governance Specialist, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and capability uplift across the governance team.

What will you bring?

 

  • Professional experience in developing, managing and monitoring risk and governance frameworks, policies and procedures that meet legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
  • Strong understanding of Procurement and Non-Financial Risk disciplines such as TPRM, Financial Crime, ABAC, Material Outsourcing, and Information Security.
  • Knowledge of contract law and compliance requirements across jurisdictions, with the ability to apply internal standards effectively.
  • Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders, communicate complex concepts clearly, and work effectively within multi-jurisdictional teams to foster collaboration and enhance performance.
  • Track record of delivering efficient, organised operations and meeting deadlines in risk or governance-related functions.
  • Experience in managing risk theme, Procurement and TPRM governance across multiple geographies and jurisdictions, understanding the complexities of global regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of cultural differences in procurement and TPRM practices across various regions and how to tailor policies to meet these regional needs.
