About the Role
ANZ’s Group Property function plays a critical role in shaping the performance, resilience and future direction of our commercial workplaces across Australia. This role provides tactical and strategic guidance of ANZ’s Property Portfolio in Melbourne, partnering with Business Units (BUs) to enable their long-term objectives through environments that elevate employee experience and support high-impact ways of working.
As a Property Business Partner, you will act as a trusted adviser to each division in order to understand and translate workplace requirements into effective solutions. You will engage proactively at both strategic and operational levels to ensure our physical environments advance organisational priorities, align with ANZ’s workplace principles, and adapt to a rapidly evolving business landscape.
Beyond traditional requirement gathering, the Senior Property Business Partner will shape thinking, challenge assumptions and influence decision-making. Leveraging data, industry trends and best-practice insights, you will identify opportunities to optimise our portfolio, drive efficiency and introduce innovations that strengthen performance and uplift the employee experience.

What will your day look like?
- Build and maintain strong relationships with BU stakeholders to ensure workplace expectations are met or exceeded.
- Proactively plan and develop workplace solutions that support current and future BU requirements that align with workplace guidelines.
- Develop & maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring workplace strategies, service delivery and portfolio decisions consistently enable business performance and exceed stakeholder expectations.
- Provide escalation management for operational and day-to-day workplace matters, ensuring timely resolution, effective risk management, and continuity of employee experience.
- Leverage data, insights and ongoing stakeholder engagement to identify opportunities that enhance workplace performance, elevate the employee experience, and drive efficiencies or innovation across the BU portfolio.
- Provide oversight of workplace data governance, ensuring the integrity, accuracy of property, occupancy, and financial information to enable confident decision-making.
- Deliver high-quality, executive-ready reporting on workplace performance and portfolio health, offering clear insights, forward-looking analysis and recommendations that address emerging risks, opportunities, and strategic priorities.
- Ensure all capital works programs are aligned to business requirements, workplace principles, and accommodation KPIs, reinforcing value, compliance, and long-term sustainability of the property portfolio.
- Work collaboratively with BUs, Group Property teams and Technology to meet accommodation expectations.
- Responsible for full compliance with Group Property guidelines.
- Ensure all BU workplace activities meet statutory codes, group policies, and guidelines. Any deviations are to be identified and rectified promptly, with action taken to prevent reoccurrence.
