The Product Improvements team is responsible for ensuring Home Loan products and the end-to-end value chain are well managed and governed to ensure they meet customer and regulatory requirements.

 

Role Type: Permanent 
Role Location: Melbourne, Brisbane or Dockland
Work Hours: Full time 40 hours/week

What will your day look like?

As a Product Improvement Analyst, your role is to actively improve our home loan products through:

  • Product Governance: Support the management and improvement of Home Loan products, processes and policies.
  • Proactive Improvement: Actively identify and drive opportunities for enhancement and optimisation.
  • Problem Solver: Thrive on tackling complex problems, using critical thinking, your network skills, knowledge, and available data to drive better outcomes for our customers and the bank. 
  • Risk Assessment Expertise: Identify and evaluate risks effectively, while strictly adhering to established risk management procedures and policies. 
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Exhibit outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. 
  • Influential and Professional: Proven ability to influence others and manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner. 
  • Ensuring we fulfil our promises to customers through effective controls, reporting, processes, and system capabilities.

What will you bring?

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

  • Experience with Home Lending Products: Demonstrated experience or exposure to home lending products and their features, along with a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end value chain. 
  • Experience implementing change, working within established frameworks, plans and governance. Design and delivers agreed outputs (e.g. collateral updates, process changes, testing) and resolve implementation issues using existing guidance, escalating where required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from multiple data sources and translate them into practical, customer-focused solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Product, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Personal Channels teams
  • A proactive and continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on improving customer outcomes, simplifying processes, and strengthening governance
  • Resilience and Agility: Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong growth mindset. Embraces challenges, adapts quickly to change, and continuously seeks opportunities for personal and professional development.
