About the Role

 

The TPRM Controls Assessment function is responsible for the TPRM lifecycle delivery, including centralised facilitation of pre-contract and post-contract controls assessment activities.

 

In your role as the TPRM Controls Assessment Senior Manager, you will stand-up and lead a cross-border /multi- jurisdictional Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Controls Assessment Team, responsible for:

  • Fulfilling a pivotal role in assisting the business with the execution of the CPS 230 Materiality assessment process and ensuring adherence to ongoing CPS 230 governance monitoring requirements.
  • Promoting continuous enhancement in the risk and control environment related to third parties through active engagement and collaboration with business stakeholders and third parties.
  • Leading a team of TPRM subject matter experts to ensure the effective execution of the process.

What will your day look like?

 

As the Team Leader for the TPRM Controls Assessment Team – Resiliency, your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Overseeing and guiding the team in performing Materiality Assessments for third parties to ensure compliance with CPS 230 APRA requirements.
  • Governance of the ongoing monitoring process to ensure we can demonstrate compliance to CPS 230 requirements.
  • Leading the delivery of internal and external due diligence for various control assessments (business continuity, resiliency, etc.), reviewing outputs, and sharing findings with key stakeholders.
  • Providing expert advice and first-line support on third-party risk management to the business and third parties, ensuring effective risk management and compliance over third-party engagements.
  • Ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience across TPRM control assessments in line with the standard TPRM Control assessment approach.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with business stakeholders and third parties, ensuring business accountabilities for TPRM are understood, and fostering a customer service focus to add value and support the business with their requirements.
  • Leading and providing day-to-day guidance for junior members of the control assessment team, ensuring their development and alignment with team goals.

What will you bring?

 

  • Risk management experience within the financial service industry across different risk management disciplines (e.g. regulatory, Information Security, Data Privacy) preferably in Third Party Risk Management.
  • Experience in leading teams with a proven track record of fostering employee engagement and enhancing performance 
  • Proven stakeholder management expertise, including multiple examples of managing effective relationships and delivery of risk related communication activities
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering effectively to operational deadlines
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning in the workplace
  • Understanding regulatory requirements as they related to TPRM
  • Knowledge and experience of ANZ’s TPRMHub operations and management
  • Experience interpreting and understanding regulatory requirements across multiple regimes
  • Experience in a multi-jurisdictional environment
  • Demonstrated customer lens and affinity
