About the Role

The Group Control Room is a global compliance function which supports the organisation to identify and manage conflicts of interest. The Senior Manager will support the business by providing compliance expertise across ANZ with a primary focus on Institutional and Commercial material transactions and other information barriers within ANZ as required.

What will your day look like?

• Independently design and implement automated regulatory compliance controls and stakeholder reporting.
• Support the Non Financial Risk framework, including conflicts of interest policies and procedures.
• Business Owner for the conflict of interest management technology solution, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and business requirements.
• Coach junior team members, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement

What will you bring?

The ‘must have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:

• Previous experience in an Institutional and Corporate Banking Control Room function.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance and markets products.
• Demonstrated success of implementing conflict management technology solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Reporting analysis and data insights
• Managing regulatory change, including strong knowledge of RG181.
• Fixed Income Research review and approval, including knowledge of RG264.
