About the Role
The Project Manager, Fortify (Pacific) is a critical role supporting the delivery of regulatory and risk uplift outcomes across the Pacific Division. Operating within the Fortify program, this role partners closely with business, risk and technology stakeholders to plan, coordinate and deliver change that strengthens risk management capability and supports business objectives.
Role Type: Fixed Term - 12 Months
Role Location: Open to candidates based in Australia, New Zealand or ANZ Pacific Network countries
Work Hours: 40 Hours (Full-time)

What will your day look like?
In this role, you will:
- Ensure project delivery processes, governance, reporting and controls support Fortify program objectives and align to enterprise delivery standards and business priorities.
- Work collaboratively across the business to support effective management of risk impacts associated with regulatory reform, extending beyond financial crime risk to broader business and operational considerations.
- Build and maintain strong, constructive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to enable clear ownership, alignment and delivery of agreed outcomes.
- Translate complex risk and regulatory requirements into clear, practical project milestones, plans and deliverables, ensuring key risks, mitigants and dependencies are well understood and managed.
- Apply industry and business knowledge to support well‑considered delivery approaches, enabling sustainable, value‑adding outcomes for the business.
- Support the Pacific portfolio to meet regulatory, governance and “well‑managed” expectations by coordinating delivery, tracking progress, and escalating risks or issues as required.
What will you bring?
- Experience delivering complex projects or initiatives within a financial services, risk or regulatory environment.
- Strong project management capability, including planning, governance, reporting, risk and issue management.
- Ability to translate regulatory, policy and risk requirements into clear project plans, milestones and deliverables.
- Proven experience working collaboratively across business, risk and technology teams to drive alignment and delivery.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to create shared clarity and influence across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Sound judgement and a practical, solutions‑focused approach to managing change and embedding outcomes into business‑as‑usual.
- Experience or exposure to regulatory change, risk management or compliance initiatives (for example financial crime or control uplift) will be highly regarded.
