About the Role

 

The Initiative Lead is a key role in ANZ’s Digital team at the heart of supporting execution of the ANZ 2030 strategy. Part of the Retail Digital Enablement team, the Initiative Lead drives delivery across complex initiatives bringing both Technology and non-Technology teams together. We have an ambitious agenda and are working within a largely agile framework.
 
Role Type: Secondment (12 months)
Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008
Work Hours: 40 hours/ week (Full-time)

What will your day look like?

 

This role is centered around achieving excellence in delivery and empowering others to overcome challenges and ultimately lead to quality, timely outcomes for our customers and the Bank.
 
The main responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end delivery planning and execution to ensure we delivery on time, within scope and budget.
  • Risk and Issue Management
  • Cross-functional team coordination and synchronisation
  • Data-led proactive reporting on delivery status to senior stakeholders actioning insights from both lead and lag indicators
  • Overseeing activities associated with technical, business and operational readiness

 

You will be a key member and contributor to the Digital Enablement team, role modelling ANZ’s values and supporting the broader Enablement community to grow and thrive whilst acting as a culture carrier as we continue to embed our Digital Delivery model

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing complex projects or initiatives, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Strong project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in change management and process improvement is a plus.
