Program Coordinator - Talent & Culture PACT Program
Program Coordinator - Talent & Culture PACT Program
About Us
ANZ’s 2030 strategy is transforming our bank to win the preference of customers, shareholders and the community. ANZ will achieve this by focusing on four strategic pillars – customer first, simplicity, resilience and delivering value.
About the Role
We will be reviewing applications regularly and recommend applying sooner rather than later.
ANZ is at the beginning of a multi-year transformation program to deliver better customer, risk and business outcomes through sustainable improvements to the way ANZ’s does business. It is a whole-of-bank program overseen by the Board and the Executive Committee with funding and resource to enable delivery. It’s an exciting time to join.
As part of the transformation, Talent & Culture (HR) has multiple deliverables involving organisational design, culture, capability, performance and remuneration. These are the critical levers for shifting and strengthening an organisation.
As the Program Coordinator, you’ll assist the Program Director and PMO Lead to keep the program humming. You will ensure information is accurate and up to date, meeting cadences and documentation are tightly managed, and control processes run smoothly. You are a font of knowledge for the team and your expert coordination allows others to focus on decision-making and delivery.
Role type: Permanent, full time
Role location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands
What will your day look like?
We are looking for someone who has experience in running a tight ship as part of a team in a high visibility environment under time pressure. No day will be the same. This type of role will appeal to someone who likes variety and challenge.
You will contribute to:
- Governance & Cadence: owning the Program calendar, helping ensure comms and documents are distributed in a timely manner, and maintaining accurate information
- Planning & Control: supporting the Program Director and PMO Lead with planning, updating relevant documents, and helping to ensure due dates for inputs and decisions are kept
- Reporting & Insights: assisting with reporting and packs, ensuring standardisation and consistency of information, and escalating issues in a timely manner
- Financials & Resourcing: update and input financials with supervision, maintaining resourcing plans, monitoring costs and managing invoicing
- Tooling & Data Integrity: admin for the work/portfolio tools (eg. Jira, Sharepoint, Confluence), keep single-source-of-truth registers clean: version control, naming conventions, and access permissions.
- Communication & Stakeholder Support: provide assistance with comms (meeting minutes, program newsletters) and engagement (onboarding sessions), keep stakeholder maps current; ensure the right people are invited, briefed, and followed up.
- Team Support: partnering with the Program Director and PMO Lead to support team wellbeing and connection
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Demonstrated experience supporting a program or large team, ideally in a Program Coordinator or admin role
- Strong detail orientation
- Comfortable with data, technology and online tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Calm under pressure and able to work quickly
- Assertive with team members and stakeholders to ensure outcomes are achieved
You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills, but you will have most.
