About the Role
As the Product Owner of the Portfolio, Pricing & Acquisition squad, you will be responsible for ensuring we clearly understand the drivers of growth and profitability across the suite of Deposits products and ultimately enable the Deposits business to achieve their target financial and customer outcomes.
You will also be responsible for ruthlessly prioritising the demands of the team and managing the work of the team to ensure that we are focused on the right things that drive great outcomes. This will involve working closely with our stakeholders across Pricing, Distribution, Marketing and Finance to agree the priorities of the business.
You will bring your well-developed skills such as product and risk management, strong commercial acumen, business analysis, problem resolution and process improvement that may have been developed in a prior role in Portfolio/Performance Management, Product Management, Pricing or Finance. You will use these skills to coach the team towards delivery, clear roadblocks and collaborate with other subject matter experts across the value chain.
While not a direct people leader, you will be responsible for the day to day delivery of the team. Being a senior role within the Deposits Tribe and Everyday Banking family there is an expectation you will be a role model for our ways of working and be passionate about coaching, mentoring and developing others to be the best versions of themselves where appropriate.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Relevant experience in Product/Portfolio/Performance Management, Finance or Pricing.

Ability to ruthlessly prioritise and organise the workflow of a high performing team.

Manage a team and support them to deliver high quality results.

Strong interest in and affinity for deposits and/or transactional banking products.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to inspire, mentor, coach and develop others

An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs and wants, putting them at the centre of everything you do.

Strong relationship building skills and be able to work in cross functional teams to embed quality outcomes.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and succinct manner that is understandable by all.

Strong and demonstrated analytical individual with proven experience of analytical, financial and/or modelling skills.
