About the Role


The Operational Enablement team is dedicated to ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of the organisation through the management of commercial property queries, business continuity planning, and fostering a safe and healthy working environment. This team is integral to maintaining and enhancing operational resilience.

 

The Operational Enablement Associate is responsible for supporting the Operational Enablement Lead to deliver Business Continuity activities across Australia Commercial.

What will your day look like?

As Operational Enablement Associate, this role is accountable for:


• Responsible for the management and coordination of Business Continuity across Australia Commercial division
• Including the Annual Review of Business Continuity & Crisis Management manuals
• Leading annual testing across the division
• Support and management of BC events across Australia Commercial Division
• Leading PIR activities post events/incidents
• Ensure we maintain update to date contact information This role operates as part of a team responsible for the above items but will specialise in Business Continuity.

What will you bring?

The ‘must have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:


• Customer focus: defines and measure success through the eyes of the customer and banker, anticipates, understands and responds to evolving customer need
• Influencing and Relationship Building: high level of influencing and negotiating skills by demonstrating a sophisticated repertoire of influencing techniques with the ability to adjust style to different contexts and audiences.
• Business Management: Administrating business practices to create the highest level of efficiency possible within an organisation. It includes the coordination of business activities to achieve set objectives as well as financial management, resourcing, risk and business continuity.
• Risk and issue management: The ability to identify and assess risks, determine the corrective action required to control or eliminate the risks and effectively manage issues that arise.
• Risk Management: A logical and pragmatic method of establishing the context, identifying, analysing, evaluating, treating, monitoring and/or communicating risks associated with any activity, function or process in a way that will enable the organisation to minimise losses and maximize opportunities.
• Incident management: The processing and coordination of appropriate and timely responses to incident reports, including channelling requests for help to appropriate functions for resolution, monitoring resolution activity, and keeping clients appraised of progress towards service restoration.
• Controls design: The ability to specify and designing controls (e.g. a process, device or practice) to prevent, detect or remediate identified risks.
• Impact assessment: The ability to identify future consequences of a current or proposed change on people, processes and/or systems

 

The ‘good to have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:


• Change management: Prepare, engage and support people to successfully deliver, embed and adapt to change which safely drives desired outcomes.
• Data driven decision making: using multiple sources of data and information to help contextualise and determine priorities
• Large scale (whole of business) change management experience
