About the Role
You will assist ANZ to meet its obligations under the APRA Court Enforceable Undertaking (CEU) by coordinating the implementation and governance as part of the PACT (People, Accountabilities, Customers, Trust) program for Australia Business & Private Bank. You will assist the team to ensure all milestone activities are completed in Australia Business & Private Bank to meet agreed closure criteria and collect evidence for independent review and regulatory assurance. Acting as the central coordination point for Australia Business & Private Bank you will liaise with the Group Project Team, Group Risk & Compliance, Line 2 Risk and Compliance, BU Assurance teams, and the Business. This role ensures alignment, integration, and governance of all the deliverables for Australia Business & Private Bank. You will be part of a high-performing team that can deliver implementation, communications, and governance outcomes that strengthen ANZ’s risk management capability and embed sustainable change.

What will your day look like?
As a NFR Delivery Lead , you will:
Delivery & Coordination
- Manage and organise the delivery and coordination of packages into the business.
- Work with key stakeholders for each Package to monitor and drive implementation of activities.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change to ensure the successful delivery: on time and to quality.
- Manage the engagement model for the Business to consume the packages and own this engagement process.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Be the link between the business and program workstreams, connecting Design Owners, Business Leads, and the Central Program team.
- Identify roadblocks and escalate when appropriate.
- Manage communication to ensure program outputs and outcomes are clearly communicated and understood.
Governance & Framework Compliance
- Ensure adherence to the organisation’s Project Management Framework, including governance, methods, templates, tools, and quality assurance.
Leadership & Culture
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and customer/stakeholder satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement & Engagement with other Divisions
- Enhance program management capability by contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, sharing knowledge between the BU’s in the Division and between other Divisions.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience working in large-scale risk and compliance transformation programs, ensuring delivery to scope, time, cost, and quality standards.
- Highly adaptable and resilient, with the ability to respond effectively to ambiguity, shifting regulatory expectations, and evolving program priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of governance principles, compliance frameworks, and assurance processes, including audits and regulatory reviews.
- Commitment to driving process improvements, uplifting risk and compliance capability, and fostering knowledge sharing across teams.
- Skilled in building relationships with executives, and business leaders, with the ability to influence decisions and embed a risk-aware culture.
- Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal and visual) with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences. Ability to adapt communication style to suit diverse stakeholders.
