About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join our Reward and Performance Team which provides specialised rewards expertise and support to ANZ’s businesses while also leading and implementing ANZ-wide initiatives and rewards processes. This role will support the global operations of ANZ Employee Share Plans and will focus on delivering globally consistent processes that support ANZ's remuneration strategy, including the planning, implementation, governance, and communication of key employee share plan activities. You will take a human centred approach, engaging with a broad range of employee groups and ensuring that their needs are represented in the design of solutions, while meeting ANZ policy and regulatory requirements. What will your day look like?
This role will lead and support all equity processes including legal and tax due diligence, share and rights allocations, vesting processes, withholding tax and tax/regulatory reporting. The role will have daily contact with internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the role will assist in the development of efficient global processes.
Your key accountabilities will include the following:
- Managing and delivering key global employee share plan (equity) processes with a focus on compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ownership of relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
- Researching and understanding local and global legislative and taxation changes and implementing required changes
- Overseeing and maintaining processes to address and mitigate risk and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including due diligence, terminations actioning and allocations
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Solid Reward/Remuneration experience & demonstrated understanding of/involvement in (ideally in a lead capacity) core Remuneration activities
- Strong knowledge and solid experience in the design and implementation of remuneration frameworks
- Proven experience in applying remuneration and employee share plan knowledge, including understanding of global tax and legislative requirements
- Sound knowledge of the regulations and laws impacting remuneration and benefits (in particular employee share plans), with financial industry and multi geography remuneration/benefits experience desirable
- Experience in managing employee share plan processes autonomously
- Experience in identifying and mitigating risks and improving process delivery and efficiency
- Proven project management and planning skills to lead initiatives, both within the Remuneration team and at times more broadly across Talent & Culture
- Strong collaboration, relationship management and team building skills
- Excellent research, analytical (advanced in excel) and problem solving skills as well as a very strong attention to detail
- A growth mindset and a willingness to proactively seek out opportunities to broaden & deepen your experience and expertise
