About the Role
The Culture Specialist plays a key role within the Culture and Leader Experience team at ANZ, supporting the design and activation of cultural artefacts, programs and leader led experiences as the organisation continues to evolve its culture.
The role partners across the enterprise to design and implement practical, inclusive and scalable culture activation solutions that embed desired behaviours into everyday ways of working and leadership practices. Through strong collaboration and commercial acumen, the role contributes to measurable and sustainable cultural impact aligned to ANZ’s strategy and values.

What will your day look like?
As the Culture Specialist, your accountabilities will be to:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of culture activation and leader experience solutions across a blend of modalities, supporting their testing, refinement and successful adoption.
- Build effective working relationships with stakeholders, applying solid consulting skills to capture requirements and translate them into actionable, ordered and commercially sound culture activation designs.
- Support the administration, coordination and delivery of culture activation programs and initiatives across the enterprise.
- Outline, maintain and support the processes, templates and tools required for consistent and effective program delivery.
- Collaborate with Communications, Change and People teams to ensure cultural messaging is integrated and fit for purpose.
- Apply a practical and inclusive approach to support solutions that embed culture into everyday practices and leader led activities.
What will you bring?
‘Must have’ knowledge, skills and experiences
- Experience contributing to the design and delivery of culture and leadership solutions across a blend of modalities, with understanding of behavioural change concepts and both enterprise wide and “in the flow of work” approaches.
- Demonstrated consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling effective collaboration and the ability to influence outcomes across diverse groups.
- Strong analytical capability to assess culture related information, identify focus areas, and translate insights into practical solutions that support behaviour change and improved outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. With strong visual design/ppt skills.
- Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in fast paced environments, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work constructively through ambiguity.
- Experience working with vendors and/or delivery teams to support the delivery of initiatives, including adherence to governance and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to outline, maintain and support processes, templates and tools that enable consistent and effective program delivery.
- Strong desire to work at pace in a high performance culture, with an outcomes focused and continuous improvement mindset.
‘Good to have’ knowledge, skills and experiences
- Exposure to culture, leadership or people related initiatives in medium to large organisations.
- Experience supporting projects or programs with multiple streams, milestones or dependencies.
- Familiarity with enterprise environments, including working across functions, governance forums or delivery cycles.
