About the Role

As a Capability Lead, Delivery Excellence in our team, you will lead all learning, talent and associated communication activities as part of strengthening delivery capability across the organisation. This includes an in depth understanding and experience in conceptualising, designing, and facilitating learning interventions (e.g. virtual learning, e learning, building artefacts etc) and services in relation to project management and governance. 

 

You will focus on developing and managing career pathways for key delivery roles. This includes planning, establishing, and overseeing processes for identifying high-potential talent, creating a succession planning framework, and implementing long-term talent management strategies that align with the organization's overall objectives.

 

Your role will also involve creating and executing effective communication strategies to foster communities of practice, enhance brand awareness, and clearly convey learning outcomes to executives and the wider delivery community. Additionally, the Capability Lead, Delivery Excellence will play a crucial role in organizational change management, ensuring that learning and training are embedded in a sustainable manner across the organization.

 

Reporting to the Head of Delivery Excellence, the Capability Lead, Delivery Excellence will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders in Delivery to offer consultative support on initiatives related to learning, talent management, and communications.

What will your day look like?

As a Capability Lead, Delivery Excellence, you will:

  • Design and facilitate the implementation of training programs and learning artefacts to support delivery excellence

  • Design, develop and implement process for identifying, selecting and growing pipeline of high potential employees in critical roles

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement a cohesive, integrated, and comprehensive offering of training and learning programs

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build Delivery Excellence brand awareness, and lead to promotion of Delivery Excellence presence within the Delivery community

  • Support the launch, preparation, and communication of annual CEO Delivery Excellence Awards

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Specialist in depth understanding and experience in conceptualising, designing, and developing learning programs and services and learning artefacts

  • Expert in planning and developing talent processes like succession planning frameworks to ensure employee growth and engagement

  • Actively listen, understand, and respond to stakeholders

  • Demonstrate a wide degree of creativity in thought and speech to articulate concepts

  • Adept at understanding abstract concepts, business problems and needs and translating them into learning and talent objectives and design

  • Consider the immediate and future aims and goals of the Delivery Excellence team when prioritising own work
