About the Role

As a Customer Due Diligence Execution Analyst in our Business & Private Bank division, you will report to the Customer Due Diligence Execution Manager and you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of the Division's financial crime requirements.

Role Type: Permanent role 

Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008 (Remote location - Can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane) 

Work Hours: Full time, 40 hours/week 

What will your day look like?

As a Customer Due Diligence Execution Analyst, you will: 
 
Serve as an AML/Sanctions subject‑matter expert, supporting enterprise programs, business units, and operations. Ensure effective execution of customer and banker KYC in line with AML policies and procedures. Contribute to threat assessments, thematic reviews, and regulatory or industry responses, aligning with risk and customer priorities. Support the CDD Onboarding Strategy team in designing efficient KYC and onboarding processes. Provide operational and financial crime support to bankers and businesses, resolving time‑sensitive KYC queries collaboratively.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
 
Experience in Financial Crime and KYC with sound knowledge of AML/CTF regulations and the broader regulatory landscape. A strong customer‑centric mindset, focused on achieving better outcomes through proactive risk management, ethical decision‑making, and service excellence. Effective communication skills to translate complex financial crime concepts into practical business applications. Strong analytical and reasoning abilities to assess information, identify risks, determine corrective actions, and manage emerging issues. Proven capability to plan and prioritise across people, process, and technology to deliver customer needs and strategic objectives, with a growth mindset aligned to ANZ’s culture.
