About the Role
Join Group Risk’s PACT Program – a set of initiatives that turn complicated, company-wide promises into clear, testable requirements and well-managed delivery results.
Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Relations and Risk, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the enterprise-wide framework for regulatory obligations management, foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, and provide guidance on compliance, regulatory change, obligations, and governance.
This role operates within the Enterprise NFR uplift program, and you will be required to work to program governance, reporting and closure standards, ensuring high quality evidence, timely risk escalation and controlled delivery across Group Risk and partner divisions.

What will your day look like?
We are a dynamic fast paced delivery environment and the focus areas for these roles will develop and evolve as program delivery progresses. Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in maintaining and governing the obligations library, ensuring accuracy and traceability to controls and processes.
- Help integrate obligations management into broader risk and compliance programs and contribute to reporting and recommendations for compliance uplift to governance forums..
- Build collaborative relationships with business units, risk partners, and internal audit teams.
- Provide clear, practical guidance on obligations and compliance requirements and participate in governance forums and assist with training sessions for key stakeholders.
- Monitor and enhance obligations management processes by ensuring timely updates, improving data quality and reporting through automation, and identifying efficiency opportunities for implementation
- Ensure obligations management practices align with ANZ’s Code of Conduct and regulatory commitments.
- Promote a strong risk and compliance culture through engagement and communication
- Drive governance and reporting across the Enterprise NFR uplift program and broader bank standards by ensuring compliance with frameworks, delivering accurate and timely program reports, maintaining high-quality evidence, and supporting risk escalation to enable transparency and controlled delivery
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- 5+ Experience in regulatory change management or obligations management.
- Strong knowledge of Non-Financial Risk and Risk Management Frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence at multiple levels.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for reporting and stakeholder discussions.
- Background in financial services risk or compliance roles preferred.
- Ability to appreciate difficult problems and work autonomously on tasks with high complexity and clearly represent findings.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or Business Analysis certifications
