A critical component of our enterprise transformation is ‘Program PACT’ (People, Accountabilities, Customers and Trust), which has been established to deliver better customer, risk and business outcomes through sustainable improvements to ANZ’s non-financial risk management practices.
Our Talent & Culture team is a critical enabler of Program PACT and is also responsible for key deliverables, focused on: transforming our organisational and risk culture; strengthening performance and remuneration frameworks; and building the capabilities our people need manage risk well and deliver results at pace, in the right way.
As a Business Analyst with the PACT program, you will support the planning, delivery and oversight activities for the Talent & Culture workstreams. This role will play an integral part in ensuring committed activities are well-planned and delivered on time to meet stakeholders expectations, with robust oversight and controls in place to govern program execution.

What will your day look like?
As a Business Analyst in the Talent & Culture PACT workstreams, you will be:
- Supporting the planning, delivery and reporting of workstream deliverables by collaborating across teams to gather, document, and manage project requirements.
- Designing activities and delivery plans, and monitoring progress and quality data to identify opportunities or areas requiring focus.
- Assisting with translation of business requirements and feedback into actionable and sustainable solutions.
- Applying your knowledge and expertise by combining and interrogating qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns and trends, providing meaningful information and insights to improve delivery outcomes.
- Actively identifying, managing and remediating delivery risks and issues.
- Creating and maintaining key analysis artifacts, such as business requirements, process maps, specifications, and decision logs.
- Developing, analysing and overseeing of reporting to track progress and outcomes against target state.
- Supporting the PACT program’s operating model and delivery cadences by demonstrating a strong understanding of risk management practices and behaviours.
- Actively participating in program and delivery stream cadence.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Demonstrated experience using a range of project management techniques (e.g. RAID, Agile) in cross-functional programs
- Proven track record in applying enterprise delivery standards and producing high-quality artefacts across project lifecycles
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to clearly convey information through oral, written, and visual methods, including active listening and presentation skills
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence areas across a range of stakeholder groups
- Analytical problem solving and critical thinking to understand problems and root causes and inform solutions which balance value, risk, cost and feasibility
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure high levels of accuracy in work outputs, including report writing and the creation of detailed documents.
- Ability to appreciate difficult problems and work autonomously on tasks with high complexity and clearly represent findings.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and documentation standards, using a range of tools (e.g. MS Project, MS Excel, Tableau)
- Domain knowledge of Talent & Culture programs and Risk Management frameworks (desirable)
- Experience on enterprise culture and/or organizational transformation programs (desirable)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or Business Analysis certifications
