About the Role

 

This role sits within the Portfolio Governance team of Australia Retail Division’s Retail Products Portfolio.

 

Retail Products is responsible for shaping product strategy, enhancing customer experience, and managing non-financial risk across the portfolio with end-to-end accountability for Retail Deposits & Payments, Credit Cards & Personal Lending, and Wealth & Insurance products.

 

The Portfolio Governance team within Retail Products Portfolio is tasked with ensuring the Portfolio is well-managed and able to meet customer needs and evolving regulatory expectations through disciplined governance and risk management, productivity improvements, and portfolio enablement. 

 

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time

Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Work Hours: 40 Hours/week

 

What will your day look like?

 

As an Analyst – Asset Governance, you are accountable for:

 

  • Support effective governance and oversight of Retail Products tech assets/system. Core assets include CAP, CTM, VisionPlus, V2plus on AS400 platform.
  • Support business asset owners by ensuring business asset owner and delegate responsibilities are executed according to roles and responsibilities. E.g. monitor and report asset health, conduct user access management activities, engage and manage escalations with Technology partners and etc.
  • Support effective governance and oversight of Retail Products third parties/vendors/strategic partners to meet ANZ Third Party Risk Management and CPS230/Material Service Provider governance requirements.
  • Preparing high-quality packs for senior leaders, governance forums and other reporting as required.
  • Developing and implementing sustainable solutions that are relevant to support audit remediation actions, reduce risk exposure to the business and/or improve processes.
  • Working collaboratively and influencing stakeholders within the Portfolio and with broader value chain partners to enhance, embed and bring to life portfolio governance team’s purpose and goals.

 

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Relevant experience in in systems or asset governance that support Retail Products and processes. 
  • Knowledge of ANZ’s NFR framework and Technology risk and asset management requirements.
  • Ability to identify and assess risks while following risk management processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in clear and succinct manner that is understandable by all (including forum packs and papers).
  • Confidence in dealing with and influencing stakeholders across teams and at all levels.
  • Proactively identify, support and drive opportunities for efficiencies to deliver better outcomes.
  • Proactively managed plans and agreed actions to due date.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to problem solve.
  • Curiosity and an adaptive and growth mindset.
