Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Mobile Mortgage Manager, you will play a key role in supporting customers through every stage of their home buying journey by understanding and meeting their home loan needs. This is a mobile role, giving you the flexibility to meet with customers at a time and place convenient for them—including outside regular business hours.
You will act as a trusted home lending expert and coach, while also proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by building strong relationships with external partners and influencers.

As a Mobile Mortgage Manager, you will:
- Support customers through the home buying journey, delivering excellent service and building advocacy.
- Collaborate across Personal, Business, and Private Banking to provide a seamless customer experience while role modelling ANZ Values.
- Act as a brand ambassador and local home lending expert, including presenting at events and mentoring peers.
- Drive new business by building relationships with external partners such as accountants, lawyers, and real estate agents.
- Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining strong credit quality standards.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
- Ability to work autonomously, both on-site and remotely
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills
- Retail-level personal lending and credit experience
- Ability to analyse income and expenses to assess affordability and support credit decisions
- Strong collaboration skills across internal teams
- Proven business development and relationship-building capability with external partners
- Experience mentoring colleagues and supporting team initiatives
