About the Role

 

As a Senior Business Analyst at Suncorp Bank, you will play a key role in supporting the bank's delivery of CRS/FATCA (tax compliance) initiatives. You will help the bank meet its ATO regulatory commitments and improve data quality through strong business analysis, process understanding and effective stakeholder engagement. 

 

We are seeking an experienced and business focused analyst with strong regulatory knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate complexity effectively. You will work closely with risk, compliance, tax, and operational teams to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations. 

 

Role Type: 12-month Secondment opportunity/ Fixed Term contract

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

  • Facilitate collaboration with compliance, tax, and business stakeholders to support CRS/FATCA delivery.
  • Identify and document gaps in processes and data quality.
  • Define and document clear business requirements aligned with regulatory obligations.
  • Facilitate workshops and support delivery of business solutions.
  • Ensure stakeholder engagement and regulatory alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in financial services, ideally with regulatory focus.
  • Strong understanding of CRS and FATCA frameworks.
  • Proven ability to drive analysis and foster collaboration across cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and business process knowledge.
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced, changing environment with minimal guidance.
  • Experience working within agile methodologies.
