About the Role
As a Senior Analyst, Bank Regulatory Reporting you’ll play a key role in helping create a brighter future and ensure a sustainable Bank by promoting continuous improvement through customer obsession, internal initiatives, and ways of working. You will prepare and deliver accurate and timely regulatory reporting for Suncorp Bank and support the Bank’s development and implementation of regulatory reporting changes.
Role Type: 12 Months Fixed Term contract
Role Location: Heritage Lanes, 80 Ann Street, Brisbane QLD 4000
Work Hours: Full time role, 37.5 hours
What will your day look like?
As a Senior Analyst, you will:
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation, contribution, and review of the Bank regulatory reporting requirements
- Proactively support the development and implementation of regulatory reporting changes impacting the Bank
- Drive technical excellence in regulatory reporting and communicate with stakeholders in relation to emerging regulatory changes and operating environments
- Champion a documentation and risk focused mindset within the Bank Regulatory Reporting team
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Strong regulatory reporting knowledge in APRA and ASIC legislation, practice statements, guidance, and implementation are highly desirable

Degree qualification in accounting or commerce, Chartered Accountant or CPA are highly desirable

Experience in providing financial or regulatory reporting within a Financial Institution/Bank is highly desirable

Ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders

Strong spreadsheet, access, and word processing skills

Ability to thrive in an environment of rapid change and fast paced developments

Strong awareness of and embraces risk management practices and procedures

Strong awareness of economic and regulatory changes impacting on business outcomes

Ability to coach and support junior team members to develop a motivated and high performing team
