About the Role
As a Securitisation & Covered Bond Specialist in our Suncorp Bank - Treasury area, you will work collaboratively in the Securitisation & Covered Bonds team to:
• Manage the responsibilities and accountabilities for ongoing management and reporting of the Apollo and Covered Bond programmes
• Comply with undertakings, duties, representations and warranties in the programme documents
• Maintain and follow policies and procedures to identify, measure, monitor and manage risks
• Support a robust framework and the stand-alone securitisation system
• Continued self-assessment to comply with relevant laws and prudential standards
• Provide support to the Treasury Funding team with the management of the term deposit and short term wholesale portfolios
• Provide support to the broader Treasury team as and when required

What will your day look like?
As a Securitisation & Covered Bond Specialist, you will:
• Manage and administer existing Apollo Trusts and Covered Bonds via ABS Suite Plus system
• Maintain Self-Assessment checklists, Risk Registers and Procedures to ensure compliance with APS120, APS121, ASX and other regulators including ASIC and Australia’s central bank, RBA
• Assist with tasks required for the establishment and management of new APOLLO Trusts and Covered Bond issues which include:
- Structuring, facilities, swaps and cashflows of new issues and exercise clean up calls
- Pool cutting of Mortgages that meet eligibility criteria
- Follow ASX compliance procedures to meet Debt Listing obligations
- Process quarterly substitutions for self-securitisation and Covered Bond Trusts
- Ability to operate and test ABS Suite Plus system to meet business requirements
- Meet reporting requirements by due dates external counterparties and internal teams
- Review and report MTM of Apollo swaps, cash flows, accounting data and statistical information
- Maintain authorised persons for Trustee Accounts
- Coordinate Rating Agency operational reviews
- Assist with internal and external audit reviews for Securitisation and Covered Bond programmes
- Maintenance of Investor Reports on Suncorp Bank website
• Support Funding Team as and when required

• Methodical and disciplined attention to detail
• Outstanding time management and organisational skills
• Ability to recognise potential effects of changing market conditions and internal system changes
• Understand risk management, settlement processes, banking and financial markets products
• Qualification in Finance, Economics, Law, Accounting or related field is highly desirable
• AFMA Dealer Accreditation is highly desirable
