About the Role

As a Remediation Officer, you’ll play a key role in helping the Remediation team meet its objectives efficiently and effectively. You will also support the team in achieving key objectives related to compliance, customer outcomes, and banker outcomes, while ensuring progress toward remediation milestones.

Work Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

What will your day look like?

As a Remediation Officer, you will:

  • Communicate and collaborate with various business stakeholders, provide updates and if required engage with customers related to remediation.
  • Process transactions for customers requiring remediation 
  • Contribute to inbox management for remediation mailbox 
  • Offer support to remediation team needing assistance with remediation efforts.
  • Identify and address constraints that hinder progress on remediations, escalating as appropriate
  • Contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the team seeking innovative outcomes. 

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Experience in remediation or dispute resolution 
  • Experience in risk or a business-related field within the financial services sector 
  • Understanding of banking regulatory and compliance obligations
  • Knowledgeable about banking, processes, and core banking systems.    
  • Demonstrated experience in collaboration, relationship, network, and strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy when handling customer information.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Customer Service - proven ability to develop rapport with internal stakeholders and deliver outcomes that improve customer experience
  • Resilience to adapt to quickly changing circumstances and ways of working.
