About the Role

•    This is a leadership role in executing the Institutional Property Group strategy around customer, people and culture, risk and financial returns.
•    Develop strategic client engagement plans and execute through insights, speed to market and leading the team.
•    Contribute to initiatives which grow our wider Institutional Property & Health and Institutional QLD businesses and its people.

 

    Role Type: Permanent Full-Time
    Role Location: Level 19, 111 Eagle Street Brisbane QLD
    Work Hours: 40 hrs/week

 

What will your day look like?

This role is accountable for:

  
•    Strategically growing and managing a portfolio of Institutional property clients which meets ANZ business writing guidelines, credit policies and financial performance metrics
•    Building relationships with clients at executive level, leveraging your industry and (investment and development) financing knowledge and developing a market profile as a property industry expert.
•    Leading the prioritisation and collaboration with ANZ teams (Research & Analysis, Risk, Product Partners, senior executives) to execute clients’ requirements at pace. There will be people leadership opportunities as a part of this role. 
•    Consistently making sound, high-quality credit and pricing recommendations based on client and industry knowledge, research and analysis, discipline application of business writing guidelines, appetite statements and credit policies whilst meeting ANZ financial performance metrics.
•    Strategically planning and collaborating with Product Partners to apply a disciplined approach to improving wallet share.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 

 

•    Customer/Industry: 10+ years’ experience Institutional Banking, developing and managing relationships at C-suite level and industry knowledge.
•    Credit: Excellent knowledge of credit and risk management principles, policies and procedures, along with exposure to structuring facilities for investment and development purposes.
•    Product/Returns: In depth knowledge of Institutional products and services and ability to structure pricing and returns to meet financial performance metrics, considering the whole ANZ-client relationship.
•    Leadership: Proven track record for leading diverse teams with the ability to prioritise and execute on client and shareholder value adding activities at pace, balancing team wellbeing and engagement. 
•    Strong relationship-building, networking, negotiation and communication skills.
•    Strategic thinking and planning towards managing the client portfolio to optimise returns for effort.
•    Execute sound judgement and problem-solving skills in deal structuring and pricing
•    Leading with empathy and empowering teams.
