About the Role

As a Customer Assist Consultant in our Home Lending you’ll play a key role in helping to provide customers with genuine assistance through periods of agreed financial hardship onto managing the assistance until the agreement has finished in accordance with business policy.

Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time

What will your day look like?

As a Customer Assist Consultant, you will:  

  • Assess customers with their hardship enquiry by reviewing applications and making recommendations 
  • Complete the appropriate workflow for each enquiry to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Determine if any customer Loan Life Events align with policy or require escalation for review
  • Provide guidance and instructions to direct customers to appropriate counselling services when necessary
  • Offer guidance and information to customers when a Hardship Notice is evident
  • Maintain regular contact with allocated customers until their financial difficulties are resolved or alternative solutions are found

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:   

  • Strong experience in a similar role is desired but not mandatory
  • Tertiary qualifications desired, but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of the legal and regulatory framework in which team must operate desired.
  • Banking and lending experience desired, but not mandatory.
