About the Role
Partnering with a Relationship Credit Manager you will help look after a portfolio of corporate level agribusiness customers primarily based in Queensland with our Specialised Agribusiness Team
As a Relationship Credit Assistant Manager your role includes applying credit and risk assessment alongside thoughtful deal structuring to enable and execute transactions in close partnership with Relationship Management, Product Partners, and Agribusiness Risk. In this role you will also ensure the delivery of superior customer service proposition to protect and grow the customer franchise.

What will your day look like?
As a Relationship Credit Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting the Relationship Credit Manager with the preparation of credit papers, financial monitoring reports and loan contract documentation.
• Maintaining a well-managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and procedures.
• Maintaining control of workflows across all compliance and customer fulfilment process.
• Proactively developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of customer business and financial needs.
• Providing appropriate solutions towards account maintenance and customer requests.
• Collaborating with Product Partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customer needs.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Prior experience in a commercial banking frontline roles, commercial lending, accountancy, insolvency, corporate advisory and funds management would be well regarded.
- Attention to detail when reviewing agreements and contracts.
- Ability to assess a customer's ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors (the 5Cs of credit)
- Strong communication skills to assist customers effectively
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep track of customer documentation, banking transactions, and internal communications
- Familiarity with risk management concepts, particularly in credit risk, risk and market risk
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as KYC (Know your customer) and AML (anti money laundering).
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic with high attention to detail
- Preferred agricultural industry experience, awareness and/or interest in the industry
