About the Role
As a Change Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the people side of change for a project, program or workstream.
We currently have 2 x Change Manager roles available (1x 4.2 and 1x 4.3), reporting into the Chief Transformation Office. Your initial assignment will be on the Suncorp Bank Integration Program, one of ANZ’s key strategic priorities.
You will conduct change analysis, support stakeholder engagement, develop targeted communications, design and coordinate training and readiness activities.
This role ensures impacted groups understand the change, are prepared to adopt new ways of working, and that adoption risks are well managed. Change Managers work closely with project managers, SMEs, training leads, and business representatives to ensure alignment and delivery of adopted, measurable change outcomes. They may also provide guidance to Change Analysts.
- Lead the development and execution of change management strategies and plans for complex initiatives.
- Conduct impact assessments and translate findings into practical actions that support successful implementation.
- Partner with business leaders to build ownership, accountability and advocacy for change.
- Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement approaches that build awareness, commitment and adoption.
- Identify, assess and manage change risks, issues and dependencies.
- Lead business readiness activities and provide clear recommendations on implementation preparedness.
- Design and coordinate communication, learning and adoption activities that support successful outcomes.
- Monitor change progress and adoption, using insights and feedback to continuously improve outcomes.
- Work collaboratively across project teams, delivery partners and business stakeholders to drive successful change delivery.
- Contribute to strengthening change management capability and practices across the organisation.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- 5+ years’ experience delivering change management outcomes within large, complex organisations.
- Experience supporting large-scale business, technology, regulatory or transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
- Demonstrated capability in business impact assessment, change planning, readiness and adoption.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capability.
- The ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
- A pragmatic, outcome-focused approach to delivering change.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Psychology, Organisational Change, Human Resources or a related discipline is desirable.
- Change Management certification (e.g. Lean Agile Change, Prosci or similar) highly regarded.
