About the Role
The Business Partner's role is to understand and translate the business strategy and key requirements into property solutions and to ensure that the solution is delivered to the satisfaction of the business without diminishing customer or employee experience. The Business Partner can guide the Business Unit (BU) to consider new ideas and leverage data to identify and drive improvements that enhance efficiency in the Bank’s space utilisation and workplace experience.

What will your day look like?
This role is accountable for:
Financial:
- Working collaboratively across all property streams, define and manage occupancy changes on behalf of the Business Unit delivering on key time, cost and quality elements
- Working collaboratively with alliance partners to ensure approved strategies are implemented within agreed time and cost parameters.
Customer:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Units (BU) to ensure property service delivery consistently meets or exceeds expectations
- Undertake pro-active planning to understand and develop strategic property solutions to support BU requirements (including asset and/or network planning) that take into consideration current & future business requirements coupled with property principles.
- Serve as the first point of contact for management of issues/complaints escalated by end-users (Customers or staff).
Process:
- Proactively liaise with all stakeholders to ensure accommodation data is accurate across property databases & financial systems.
- Prepare regular portfolio reports, within specified timeframes, detailing property accommodation status and performance including recommendations on current and future issues.
- Management & monitoring of project plans developed & implemented to support investment activity including plans & reports developed by third party suppliers.
- Ensure capital works are in line with the business requirements, keeping within established property design guidelines and accommodation KPIs.
People & Culture:
- Actively lead and encourage an environment that supports teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence and personal success.
- Work collaboratively with Business Units, Property teams, Workplace Partners and Technology to ensure accommodation expectations are met.
Risk & Reputation:
Responsible for full compliance with group property guidelines Ensure all BU activities as they relate to property meet statutory codes, group policies and guidelines. Where deviations detected, take appropriate action to rectify and prevent reoccurrence.

- Ability to create solutions and remove barriers to achieve the required outcomes.
