As an Assistant Manager – Property & Health, your role is to partner with the Relationship Manager to support a diverse portfolio of Property Development and Investment customers (lending up to $75M) in all aspects of customer service, compliance, processes, systems, and governance.

What will your day look like?

As an Assistant Manager – Property & Health, you are accountable for: 

  • Customer solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and/ or providing considered options, that meet those needs.

  • Credit Analysis: The ability to assess a customer's ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors such as character, capital, capacity to repay, collateral (security) and conditions (the 5Cs of credit).

  • Relationship management: Building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Compliance and policy management: Identifying and interpreting applicable laws, rules, codes and standards to create and/or manage policies, processes and procedures, including how these are organised, reviewed and communicated.

  • Data analysis: Collecting, profiling and analysing data to translate into meaningful insights to inform business decisions and deliver customer solutions.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Maintaining a well-managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and procedures 

  • Maintaining control of workflows across all compliance and customer fulfilment process 

  •  Acting in the best interest of the customer and apply a customer-centric approach 

  • Proactively developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of customer business and financial needs 

  • Providing solution towards account maintenance and simple customer requests 

  • Supporting the Relationship Manager with management of a portfolio of SME Property and Health customers 

  • Collaborating with Product Partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customers’ needs 

  • Engaging specialist teams when required
