About the Role
As the Customer 1:1 Marketing Lead for Suncorp Bank, you will be responsible for shaping and executing a personalised, data-driven lifecycle marketing strategy aimed at effectively onboarding, engaging, and retaining customers throughout their journey with us.
Role Location: Brisbane or Melbourne
Role Type: 12 months fixed term / secondment
What will your day look like?
As a Customer 1:1 Marketing Lead, you will:
- Inspire and guide a talented team of three to deliver innovative, customer-focused communications across emails, SMS, and physical mail, ensuring impactful and meaningful customer experiences.
- Own and deliver key reports, using data-driven insights to inform strategies and optimise customer engagement efforts.
- Be a go-to expert on enhancing customer experience through the latest in regulatory, privacy, and technical advancements. Lead the charge in integrating best practices, with support from subject matter experts across the business.
- Gain deep knowledge of Suncorp Bank’s data architecture and collaborate with data teams, risk, and senior leaders to proactively identify and resolve data-related issues.
- Build strong relationships across teams, departments, and external partners, driving collective success on key initiatives.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet team goals and deliver on key objectives.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proven ability to developing and executing personalised, segmented communications across the customer journey to drive engagement.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g. Unica, Pega, Responsys, Adobe) to inform and optimise campaigns.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple initiatives, and deliver results through effective planning and prioritisation.
- Solid understanding of SPAM and privacy regulations, with experience managing compliance and escalating issues appropriately.
- Adept at working cross-functionally and influencing senior stakeholders to align on strategic marketing initiatives.
