About the Role


As a UX Designer in our Design & Content Management domain, you’ll lead user experience design activities within a multidisciplinary team, helping to shape and deliver seamless customer journeys in digital channel which includes mobile application (iOS & Android), web application, marketing and communication etc. You’ll bring experience in human-centred design, collaborate across business and technology, and support teams to design products that deliver real outcomes for customers and the bank.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Designer, your key accountabilities include: 

  • Research planning: Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand customer needs
  • Journey mapping: Define and refine user journeys and flows that align to business and customer goals
  • Analysis and synthesis: Translate insights into actionable design opportunities, providing clear rationale for decisions
  • Co-design: Facilitate ideation and design sessions with stakeholders and end-users
  • Information architecture: Apply IA principles to structure interfaces that support usability and content clarity
  • Prototyping: Design and iterate low- to high-fidelity prototypes using Figma
  • Testing: Lead usability testing and apply findings to improve the user experience
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners and content teams to align on delivery
  • Design systems: Apply and contribute to ANZ’s Design System
  • Accessibility: Ensure accessibility and inclusive design principles are embedded (WCAG 2.1)
  • Coaching: Share knowledge and uplift the capability of team members and peers

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in UX design across digital experiences and platforms
  • Ability to design user flows, journeys, and create low to high-fidelity prototypes
  • Proven experience working closely with developers to translate design into implementation
  • Proficiency in Figma, Figjam, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong understanding of human-centred design and accessibility (WCAG 2.1)
  • Ability to synthesise user research and translate insights into actionable design outcomes
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and other designers
  • Excellent communication, storytelling and influencing skills
  • Experience applying and contributing to a design system
  • Proven expertise in designing for multichannel ecosystems with consistency across platforms
  • A growth mindset, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering value

Good to have skills:

  • Experience in financial services, consulting, or enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with content design, service design, or product experimentation
  • Awareness of technical constraints and experience collaborating in agile product teams
  • Experience working across web and mobile platforms
  • An interest in design tokens, or scalable documentation practices
  • Exposure to accessibility testing or inclusive usability sessions
  • Understanding of agile product development practices
