About the Role

As a Trade Processing Senior Officer in Trade Payments, you’ll play a key role to ensure consistent superior, processing by the team; this includes scheduling and monitoring of activities within bank’s policies, procedures and agreed timescales.  To lead a processing team which also includes taking responsibility for their collective performance and ensuring team’s productivity targets are met.

What will your day look like?

As a Trade Processing Senior Officer, you will:

• Consistently meet targets to ensure that requests are actioned within SLAs.
• Develop tools and techniques as a part of continuous improvements.
• Handle all escalated queries from ANZ customers, ANZ staff and solicitors and take up release and resolve the complex, high value/high risk transactions.
• Capable of resolving any type of issues encountered during payment process and facilitating smooth running of the process.    
• Provide a high level of customer service to the internal and external customers
• Provide accurate and up to date information on all enquiries
• Keep high level of customer orientation within the team

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 

• Good knowledge of trade cycle and excellent knowledge of two or more products  .  
• Prior experience in Trade Payments and Global Trade Finance.  
• Good knowledge in Serial & Cover Multi currency settlements via SWIFT/Trade loans/Customer transfers/RTGS.
• Excellent knowledge of multiple Trade products and processes.  
• Capable of resolving any type of issues encountered during payment process and facilitating smooth running of the process.  
• 6+ yrs of experience in trade ops.
• Working knowledge of ICC rules UCP/ISBP/URC etc)
