About the Role

 

As an Trade Processing Manager you will be responsible for end‑to‑end issuance of Bank Guarantees and SBLCs while ensuring full regulatory compliance. You will deliver high‑quality processing within defined SLAs and provide an excellent customer experience. Strong knowledge of OTL and trade finance rules is essential. Processing requirements are not limited to trade loans, trade documentary credits & collections & SBLCs/Guarantees.

What will your day look like?

 

As an Trade Processing Manager, your responsibilities will include : 

 

  • Overseeing the end‑to‑end processing of Bank Guarantees and SBLCs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and global stakeholders to resolve queries, improve processes, and uphold strong service standards.
  • Reviewing transactions, monitoring SLAs, guiding team members, and ensuring adherence to trade finance regulations.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities, supporting escalations, and contributing to a high‑performance, customer‑focused work environment.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting while ensuring timely completion of all operational tasks.

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders with clear, accurate, and timely communication.
  • Graduate/Post‑graduate with 8–10 years of Trade Operations experience, including 7+ years in BG/SBLC processing and pre‑processing.
  • Strong knowledge of URDG 758, ISP 98, UCP 600, sanctions, and compliance; CDCS and/or CSDG certification is mandatory.
  • Flexible to work in 24/7 global shift models, self‑motivated, and able to manage crises and drive team performance.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills, with the ability to analyze processes and suggest improvements; positive attitude and willingness to learn.
