About the Role
The Team Lead, Reconciliations Business Support role is responsible for ensuring timely support to all the stakeholders for TLM Application i.e., Data feed validation, Clearance of Trail difference (TD) & Missing Balances (MB), Static data maintenance, User and other related issues for smooth functioning of reconciliations and providing guidance and supervision to the team members. And also assist support manager on work allocation & daily activities.

Role Location: Acacia, Manyata Tech Park (Hybrid)
Work Hours: Early morning shifts (5:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM) and up to 4 consecutive weeks of night shifts twice a year
What will your day look like?
As a Team Lead, Recs Business Support, you will:
- Provide end-to-end support for the TLM Reconciliation Platform, ensuring timely resolution of operational issues and seamless reconciliation processing.
- Manage and investigate reconciliation exceptions, including Trial Differences (TD), Missing Balances (MB), operator interventions, and data feed issues.
- Partner closely with Reconciliations, Technology, and Business stakeholders to deliver high-quality support and maintain strong working relationships.
- Support the onboarding of new reconciliations and contribute to system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and go-live activities within agreed timelines.
- Lead and guide team members, ensuring adherence to controls, procedures, service standards, and the accuracy of critical processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process efficiencies, strengthening controls, and enhancing operational effectiveness.
- Prepare and deliver operational reporting, management information, and audit-compliant documentation to support business and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a collaborative team environment through cross-training, knowledge sharing, workload management, and stakeholder-focused service delivery
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proven experience supporting TLM RP Application within reconciliation, controls or production support environment.
- Strong knowledge of TLM Controls, including exception management, operator interventions, Trial Difference (TD) and Missing Balance (MB) investigation and resolution.
- Solid understanding of reconciliation processes, including Nostro reconciliations, debit and credit accounting entries, and balance validation.
- Experience supporting system enhancements, testing, onboarding of new reconciliations, and production go-live activities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse data, investigate exceptions, and prepare operational reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support team members while ensuring adherence to controls, procedures, and service standards.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Operations, Technology, and Business teams.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and delivering outcomes within agreed service levels.
